Dear Exporters,
As Per customs instructions regarding E Seal Installation, it has been decided that Going forward as on 15th January 2020 the E-WAY BILL NUMBER(s) (EBN) against each shipping bill number will also be captured along with other e-Seal details. EBN is the 12-digit UNIQUE number generated in the GSTN representing the e-Way Bill. A shipping bill may have one or more EBN's associated with it.
While installing the seal, along with other seal details E-way Bill number(s) will also be added against each shipping bill number.
Also, a facility will be provided to input the word ‘NOT_REQUIRED’ against the particular Shipping Bill where the EBN is not required to be generated as per the prevailing GST Rules.
